We would like to thank those who have submitted their abstracts for the IDF World Dairy Summit 2015. On June 1, we will begin notifying presenting authors if their abstracts have been accepted. Global and Regional Challenges to Economic Sustainability of the Dairy Supply Chain

The conference will provide the state-of-the-art of the dairy sector from global and regional perspective. ANALYTIC TOOLS CONFERENCE
Integration of Analytical Systems into the Milk Control Chain

The purpose of the conference is to address, how analytics are integrated in a whole sustainable raw milk control chain, and present good practices in different countries. The keynote presentation will cover examples related to demand being ahead of analytics and the other way round, and explore, how to achieve optimal analytical results. Three different countries, including Lithuania, will provide case studies on how laboratory systems are implemented to increase efficiency of official controls and enhance consumer confidence. IDF DAIRY FARMERS FORUM PROGRAMME ANNOUNCED
The first ever IDF Dairy Farmers Forum is taking shape – its preliminary programme has been announced outlining its main topics and technical tour schedule. On September 19, the participants will be invited to a comprehensive technical tour across farms, feed operations and research facilities accompanied by an entertaining introduction to Lithuanian cultural heritage and cuisine. The Forum discussions on September 20 will focus on three main topics: Dairy Farm Risk Management; Animal Welfare (Anti-Milk Campaigns / Consumer Confidence in Milk); and Environmental Challenges in Dairy Farming.
