Solicitation Of Method Performance Feedback On Official Methods of AnalysisSM First Action Methods
AOAC is soliciting method user feedback on the performance of AOAC First Action methods in the Official Methods of Analysis of AOAC INTERNATIONAL adopted in 2012-2013 that have already or are approaching the completion of the two (2) year period following their adoption. Therefore, they are eligible to be considered for Final Action status in the Official Methods of AOAC INTERNATIONAL.
Feedback must be submitted by July 16, 2015.
Method Submission Deadlines Quickly Approaching
In preparation for meetings and events scheduled for the AOAC INTERNATIONAL Annual Meeting & Exposition in Los Angeles, California, the AOAC Official Methods of AnalysisSM (OMA) method submission deadline is July 16, 2015. All applications, documentation and remittance of fees must be submitted by the deadline.

Fee-Based Open Access Option – Journal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL (J. AOAC Int.)
Authors of accepted J. AOAC Int. manuscripts will have a Fee-Based Open Access option. If you choose to pay a fee, you will be able to distribute your manuscript freely. We will post your manuscript online as Open Access in addition to it being printed in a Journal issue.

AOAC Research Institute Call for Experts
The AOAC Research Institute is urgently seeking additional experts to participate on the Expert Review Panels (ERPs) and evaluate candidate methods for both the Harmonized Validation for Performance Tested MethodsSM (PTM) and Official Methods of AnalysisSM (OMA).

AOAC Performance Tested MethodsSM (PTM)
The Research Institute has granted AOAC Performance TestedSM certification for the methods listed below. The validation manuscript and method information will be published in the Journal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL and AOAC INTERNATINAL’s Inside Laboratory Management. All certifications are valid through December 31st of each year.

AOAC Official Methods of AnalysisSM (OMA)
The AOAC Research Institute now administers the AOAC Official MethodsSM (OMA) program for all proprietary, single and sole source methods. Methods submitted through the PTM-OMA harmonized process also will be reviewed through the AOAC Research Institute. All methods in the OMA program are now reviewed by Expert Review Panels for First Action AOAC Official Methods of AnalysisSM status.
